Seattle Art Museum - Gauguin Polynesia
Seattle Art Museum came to C+F looking to revamp their featured exhibit experience for Gauguin & Polynesia exhibit with two goals in mind – develop a new content structure for trip planning as well as create a unique way to express the exhibit. I led the strategy and UX for this project as well as the concept phase. We created a 3 column accordion to house the content that would be consistent from exhibit to exhibit. For the concept part of the project we used the geography of this well-traveled artist as canvas to tell the story. We leveraged curator videos to introduce the chapters of his life and provide context to the map points that went into detail on the art and his journey.
This project was done in collaboration with the incredibly talented SAM creative team who headed up design and video production. Development was completed by C+F code guru Lonnon Foster.
